Staff Sgt. Sahar Meidani (20) was a Golani soldier from Kiryat Ekron. He was killed on October 7th fighting the Hamas terrorists at the Nahal Oz IDF outpost.
Sahar was a fine young man who loved his family and friends. He had a bright personality. Sahar was a humble young man who was kind and compassionate towards others. He loved Israel and gave his life on October 7th as a hero. He and many of his fellow soldiers from the Golani Brigade encountered and killed many of the approaching terrorists. Despite being wounded by an RPG, he helped carry another soldier to safety. In his final moments, he saved many lives. He sacrificed his life protecting the State of Israel.
